Been Busy
Sorry that I haven't had much for updates recently. I've been working on my research project quite a bit. This weekend I will try to get some more pictures and stories from my latest trip posted.

Yeah, I totally don't get that story at all! What's the hook, exactly? I mean what kind of new thing does it expose in relation to Wal-Mart? Is the evening news going to be warning us that people may be living in our local Wal-Mart store? Because they're not. Help me out, here. Why is this kid getting national media attention?

Yeah, it really doesn't offer new insights on the store. Even the original article said he had no intentions to expose anything. He was neither for nor against Wal-Mart. A perfect non-confrontational story for the media.
For me, the concept was interesting, but I wish he would have taken it further. Maybe he could have dressed up as an employee and seen how long it took them to notice.
