Please Let Me Wonder

More Excuses, and a Random Link

So it looks like I won't be posting about my last trip anytime soon. I managed to find enough other things to do, worthwhile and otherwise, during this last week that I ran out of time.

And now I'm leaving again, this time to Frankfurt. Another friend from the US is taking a vacation and I am going to travel with them for a few days. I managed to get a reasonably priced train ticket, which made it a lot easier to justify going. This is probably going to be my last trip I make around Europe before returning to the US on 03July.

Six months ago when I first arrived in Europe, the opportunities for activities and travel seemed limitless. Now, with two weeks to go, I'm making lists of everything that I must accomplish before I leave. Unfortunately, the only things on the lists are mundane tasks like "get grades transferred" and "fill out deposit refund form". Yawn.

I wish I could write more, but this morning I'm not feeling very verbose. Which seems fitting, since yesterday an Italian (Sardinian) woman told me that I don't "speak enough". It bothers me a bit because I think she's right, but at the same time I think some of it comes from differences of personality. Perhaps I can contemplate this while riding the 12 hours to Frankfurt.

Before I go, here's the random link I promised. Watch videos of things being shredded. My personal favorite was the mattress/box spring, but the washing machine was cool too. Tell me your favorites in the comment section!

Hope you all have a very pleasant weekend, and next week I will do my best to post some pictures from my recent trips. Oh, what the heck I won't make you wait that long. Here's one from my last trip with D & K:We were in a Western-themed steakhouse in Sopron, Hungary. You could tell they dropped alot of cash on decorating the place, and it had plenty of American antiques. They didn't get everything right, though. The bar had saddles instead of barstools, but the saddles were English riding saddles, and not traditional Western saddles.

Okay, now I really gotta go. Bye!
